Putin Tests the NATO Alliance With a Drone Incursion Into Poland

We begin with a Russian incursion into NATO member Poland’s territory last night with 19 drones and Poland’s invocation of Article 4 of the NATO treaty in what appears to be a provocation by Putin to test the alliance. Joining us is Jonathan Katz, a fellow in Governance Studies at the Brookings Institution and co-editor of the 2025 Democracy Playbook. Previously he served as the national security fellow for Senator Amy Klobuchar, was the deputy assistant administrator in the Europe and Eurasia bureau at the U.S. Agency for International Development and prior to that served as the staff director of the Europe Subcommittee of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and as a senior advisor to the assistant secretary in the International Organization Affairs Bureau at the U.S. Department of State.

Qatar Was Not Warned About the Israeli Attack Which Happened at 3.46 Because the US Told Them About it 10 Minutes Later at 3.56

Then finally we look into Trump claiming he did not know about the Israeli strike on the Hamas negotiators in Qatar while the Pentagon says Qatar was warned although its leader Sheik Al Thani says they got the warning from the US at 3.56, 10 minutes after the attack at 3.46. Joining us is Juan Cole, a professor of Modern Middle Eastern and South Asian History at the University of Michigan.
