With The Revival of the Iran Nuclear Deal Near, Could MBS Drive up the Price of Oil to Hurt Biden in November?
Then finally we examine the likelihood that the revival of the Iran nuclear deal, the JCPOA, is very near and that its renewal could prompt the pro-Trump Saudi leader MBS to drive up the price of oil ahead of the November elections in retaliation to hurt Biden in spite of the recent fist-bump the two leaders shared. Joining us is Dr. Trita Parsi, the Executive Vice President of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft and a professor of political science at Georgetown University whose books include, Losing An Enemy: Obama, Iran and the Triumph of Diplomacy. We discuss his article at MSNBC, “China is not the winner of a US military exit from the Mideast. America is.”
