Why Thailand and Cambodia Are Fighting Over Their Border and What Should Stop It
We begin with the border clashes between Cambodia and Thailand that could escalate into a wider war since calls for restraint from ASEAN and the UN Security Council have been largely ignored. Joining us to discuss why the two countries are fighting and exchanging fire after Trump announced a ceasefire is Yeshua Moser-Puangsuwan, a political activist, researcher, author and lecturer on nonviolence in human society who has lived and worked in a dozen countries, spending most of his adult life in Southeast Asia. Since refusing U.S. military conscription in 1972, he has sought to promote pragmatic nonviolent methods to address human problems. Since 2005 he has served as the International Campaign to Ban Landmines [ICBL] and Cluster Munition Coalitions Global Thematic Editor and as a Regional Research Coordinator on Mine Ban policy and Cluster Munition Ban policies for Asia, the Pacific, Middle-east and North African regions.
Trump’s Brazen Plan to Gerrymander the Already Gerrymandered State of Texas to Have 80% of the Power With Only 55% of the Vote
Then we look into Trump’s brazen plan underway to get Texas Governor Abbot to gerrymander the already gerrymandered state of Texas to the point the GOP will have 80% of the power with only 55% of the vote. Joining us to discuss how racist this plan is since whites are only 40% of the Texas population and minorities 60% is Matt Angle, who directs the Texas Democratic Trust and the Lone Star Project, a Political Action Committee that aims to be an aggressive “fact-checker” on the Republican Party, both at the state and national levels. Matt Angle has served as Executive Director of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and from 2000 to 2004 he was the Executive Director of the House Democratic Caucus.
Trump and His Law Firm the DoJ Make Nice With a Convicted Sex Trafficker of Underage Girls as MAGA Media Portrays Maxwell as a Victim to Justify Trump’s Pardon of Her
Then finally with Trump and his law firm the DoJ bending over backwards to be nice to a despicable sex trafficker of underage girls while the MAGA media lays the groundwork for a pardon of Ghislaine Maxwell in exchange for erasing evidence of Trump’s 20 year close relationship with Epstein by naming Democrats only and portraying Maxwell as a victim of Epstein’s depravity, we will speak with Nina Burleigh, a senior editor at The New Republic. She is a best-selling author, documentary producer, and publisher of the substack American Freakshow. A professor at New York University’s Arthur J. Carter Journalism Institute, she’s written seven books, the latest of which include Virus: Vaccinations, the CDC, and the Hijacking of America’s Response to the Pandemic and Golden Handcuffs: The Secret History of Trump’s Women, and she has a new novel, Zero Visibility Possible. Nina is the Producer of a documentary series on Apple TV, “Epstein’s Shadow” and we discuss her article at her American Freakshow Substack, “Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein: A Timeline of Their Long Bromance.”
